On Thursday the 6th of October, we celebrated the harvest. This year, instead of one of year 3 classes performing, it was The School Council- the staff wanted children from all over the school. Because I am one of the members- the chair- I had to perform. Every day for about two weeks, the School Council, the children who were doing the powerpoint and George Williamson gave up their lunchtimes to practice. On the morning of our assembly, we came into school early to practice with the choir, who were singing a harvest praise. When we had done the actual assembly, we all agreed It had gone brilliantly. We were able to put the message of being grateful for what we have and also thinking of those who are less fortunate than ourselves across successfully. On behalf of all of the children who were in the assembly, I would like to thank Mrs. Anglin and Mrs. Musson, who helped us to learn our lines and sing the harvest praise. We would also like to thank the generous IHJS community for all the wonderful donations.
