Pastoral Care

At Iver Heath Junior School, we value pastoral care extremely highly.

Our dedicated team always place the well-being of children at the forefront of their minds when supporting them.

We are proud to be the first primary school in Buckinghamshire to run a Peer Mentoring scheme in conjunction with Mind, a mental health charity. This scheme involves pupils in Years 5 & 6 who have been trained to listen carefully to their peers from all year groups and provide advice whilst mediating a range of issues.

We are introducing a children's mental health champion who will work across the school to implement a project with the aim of developing positive mental health in all children.

The Bucks Family Information Service website also offers lots of advice and helpful links for families. Their website can be found here: Bucks Family Information Service
