Welcome

Welcome from our Headteacher

Thank you for visiting our school website. On these pages you will find lots of information about our school and daily life at Iver Heath Juniors. To find out more, feel free to telephone or email our school office and arrange an appointment to see our learning in action!

At Iver Heath Junior School, the safety of children in our care is our key priority. This is shown by our approach to safeguarding and health and safety. We work hard to foster a culture of safety throughout the school, liaising closely with pupils, staff and parents to ensure that all pupils feel safe and are safe whilst at Iver Heath Junior School. More information can be found on our Safeguarding page.

As a school, we endeavour to ensure that all of our children feel safe, happy and secure.  We encourage them to take pride in themselves and actively work as part of the Iver Heath team to achieve the best possible standards in their education. The school has worked relentlessly to improve the quality of teaching and as a result children at our school make consistently good progress.

We feel that the partnership between home and school is crucial.  As parents, you are always welcome to come into school to discuss your child’s progress or any concerns you may have.  We know from experience that when an open partnership exists between parents and school, your child is more likely to thrive during their junior years. The school arranges many open events and curriculum days throughout the school year, to which family members are warmly invited.

Iver Heath Junior School was opened in 1963 and has experienced many changes over the years.  The school is well resourced with the latest computer facilities, extensive grounds, an all-weather sports pitch, a re-furbished library, a large hall and dedicated music room.

Iver Heath also has an integral role in the local community with strong links with Iver Heath Infant School, the local church, Pinewood Studios and sports clubs.  Our PTA is also very active, regularly holding events such as fetes and discos and cake sales.

We hope that you enjoy visiting our website and learning about the great work that happens every day at our school!

Kind regards,

Mr. O. Lloyd
