Our Values in action
After a good clearing, this is how we have been exploring and enjoying our Junior School Jungle
On Thursday 20th April, we were visited by the founder and operations coordinator of the charity Miles for Smiles Mr. Dwayne McKenzie.
MILES FOR SMILES is an important charity supporting the mental health of children in Berks, Bucks, Herts, West London, Surrey and other surrounding counties. When miles for smiles was first set up the aim was quite simple; to raise money for the private mental health therapy for children.
Iver Heath Junior School is incredibly proud that some of our pupils have literally walked miles to raise money for this important charity.
You will see below, pictures of Dwayne and some pictures of our pupils receiving certificates to celebrate their walk, the money they raised and prove that We are a Community and We are Inclusive.
